Rickshaw tours for any occasion
As already mentioned in the title, rickshaw tours are simply recommended for any occasion. One does not necessarily have to ‘reach’ certain places or obtain certain informations. A ride with a rickshaw already is an attraction on its own.
Enjoy the interchange or the silence, according to request. Or alternately both! Daydream and fall in love with the landscape while gliding through. Look around at your leisure. Follow the object of your desire with your eyes at will. Or do not look at all! Close your eyes and listen to the chatter of birds. Or the rustling of leaves in the wind. Feel the delicate breeze in your face and your hair. You do not need to pay attention to the traffic or to watch where you step. I’ll bring you ahead safely.
Step in and let yourself be enchanted! :–)
Nevertheless, allow me to introduce you to some possible routes and occasions at this point.
Classical sightseeing tour in the city centre and surrounding area
You would like to get to know the old Berlin? With pleasure! How about the ‘oldest Berlin’, the birthplace of the city? Then off to the Nikolaiviertel (Nicholas’ Quarter) with Berlin’s oldest church, the St. Nicholas' Church!
From there on passing the City Palace (Stadtschloß) across the Museum Island (Museumsinsel) with the Pleasure Garden (Lustgarten), the Berlin Cathedral (Berliner Dom) and numerous significant museums?
After this to the Neptune Fountain (Neptunbrunnen), surrounded by the St. Mary’s Church (Marienkirche), the Red City Hall (Rotes Rathaus) and the TV Tower (Fernsehturm)?
Or along ‘Unter den Linden’ (‘under the linden trees’, a boulevard) and over the Bebelplatz (Bebel Square) to the Gendarmenmarkt (a square).
Maybe rather along the Spree (a river) in the direction of the Reichstag (parliament), the Regierungsviertel (Government District) and the Hauptbahnhof (Central Station)?
Pass the Hotel Adlon over the historical Pariser Platz (Paris Square) to the Brandenburg Gate? Very wonderful!
Just behind it is the Tiergarten (a big park). In the ‘Green Lung of Berlin’ a beautiful route awaits us: Along a picturesque river, passing historical monuments, crossing elegant sight axes, with a small break at a small lake we are approaching the Siegessäule (Victory Column) and the Schloß Bellevue (Bellevue Palace).
Festival of Lights
In autumn, enjoy the 10-day light spectacle ‘Festival of Lights’ out of the rickshaw. Linger as you wish at the most beautiful light installations and overcome the distances in between comfortably.
Wedding
‘Befitting the status’, the bride and groom have their ‘private carriage’ pick them up and drive them to the registry office or to the church. Afterwards to the festivity.
‘Taxi ride’
With great pleasure I also drive you ’from A to B’. :–) Perhaps we can still find an interesting path off the usual taxi routes.
City festival, festiveness or trade fair
Whether public or private: Treat your guests and visitors to free tours with the rickshaw. Or to a shuttle service from the station to the scene of the event. Always an attractive addition.
